Sometimes you need to obtain the plural (or the singular) form of a noun and it's not usually as easy as adding/removing an 's' (think, for instance, of children, teeth or tomatoes).

For such situations (as long as you are working with English or Spanish text) you can use Inflector. It's simple and it seems to work OK except for a few irregular nouns (e.g. teeth or feet) but, hey, it's open source so you can fix that!
